Crossrail Station Undergoes Makeover

Chadwell Heath Station is undergoing a number of enhancements to facilitate the new Crossrail services, including platform extensions, new signage, help points, customer information screens and CCTV.

There is also track works to the east of the station to improve service reliability. When the full Crossrail service commences in 2019, Crossrail will provide 12 trains per hour from and towards central London during peak periods. These will be all station stopping services replacing the existing metro service.

Fibregrid was commissioned by Costain’s to design a custom build composite platform for drivers to access trains safety.
