Jaguar Land Rover Case Study

Our GRP Grating is commonly used as flooring for car wash bays, thanks to its high load bearing capabilities and open mesh design; allowing it to comfortably support the weight of small vehicles and drain the water safely through its mesh grid.

Jaguar Land Rover in Derby has recently chosen to install our grating on their premises, meeting their requirements and providing a strong, lightweight and easy to install flooring system.

Typical car wash bay installations make combine the use of our grating and pedestal feet. Our pedestal feet are extremely strong (able to support loads of more than 1000 kg per pedestal) and provide elevation for the grating. The integrated slope correctors allow them to compensate or create a 5% pitch, delivering effective water run-off without weakening the overall structure.
