Port Edgar Marina Case Study

FibreGrid was awarded the contract by Port Edgar Holidays Limited to deliver over 1,500m² of GRP grating panels to the prestigious Port Edgar Marina Infrastructure Redevelopment Scheme in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The panels were mounted directly onto timber pontoons. The newly installed GRP panels act as a decorative, anti-slip safety surface for pedestrians accessing boats along the marina walkway.

FibreGrid's GRP panels are extremely lightweight and easy to fabricate. Savings on labour and equipment made the total install cost significantly cheaper than installing the steel equivalent.
