FibreGrid supplied Anti Slip GRP Flat Sheets to be installed on the ferry's foot passenger walkways onboard Cowes Floating Bridge

 

 

The Cowes Floating Bridge is a vehicular chain ferry which crosses the River Medina on the Isle of Wight, off the south coast of England.

It remains the only way to cross the River Medina between the towns without taking a ten-mile trip via Newport.

 

They ordered our Heavy Duty GRP Flat Sheets to provide an anti slip surface for the foot passenger walkways. The Flat Sheets are extremely durable and resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for this type of application.
