May 2021 Question

Which grating elevation product should I use?

We now stock Grating Elevation Feet in a wide range of sizes to suit your elevation needs. We also offer ‘slope correctors’ for our Pedestal range for elevating grating where the ground below is not level. Some of our Pedestal Feet come with slope correctors integrated, and you can buy the slope correctors individually for those that don’t.

The slope corrector fits easily on the top of the pedestal foot and provides slope correction from 0-5% (in 0.5% increments).

If you require a slope corrector; note that fitting it adds 9mm to the height of the pedestal (this only applies to the pedestals that don’t come with the slope corrector integrated).

Our Grating Feet currently range from 6mm to 740mm in height elevation.

Non-Adjustable Grating Feet

Elevated Grating Feet - 6mm

These Elevated Grating Feet offer a fixed 6mm of height elevation.

Suitable for elevating our 38mm x 38mm Standard & Heavy Duty Square Mesh Grating to allow forthe free flow of spillages or rainwater under the grating.

The inserts can also be used for creating deflection; thus reducing leg fatigue caused by standing on a hard, inflexible surface for long periods.

This 6mm Grating Foot fits straight into the grating and is ready to use.

Purchase online now for £0.95 each ex VAT.

Rubber Grating Feet

Our Rubber Grating Feet offer 10mm elevation for our GRP Grating.

Suitable for our Standard & Heavy Duty FibreGrating, Mini Mesh (30mm height only) and Solid Top Grating.

These feet allow for the free flow of spillages or rainwater under the grating.

The inserts can also be used for creating deflection; thus recuding leg fatigue caused by standing on a hard, inflexible surface for long periods.

This pushes straight into the grating and is ready to use.

Purchase online now for £1.25 each ex VAT.

DPH0 – 17mm & DPH1 – 28mm

Purchase online now from £0.85 ex VAT per pedestal.

Adjustable Grating Feet

Adjustable Elevated Grating Feet: 10mm - 70mm

DPH2 & DPH3 Pedestal Feet – 35mm-78mm

These pedestals allow for simple, fast removal of rainwater via access cavity. For good levels of water run-off, purchase our slope corrector and set to a minimum slope of 2%.
