Hilton Heathrow Case Study

We have completed the installation of our SlipGrip Heavy Duty Stair Treads and Landing Covers to a major hotel chain at Heathrow Airport.

The staircase which is opposite the hotel and leads down to the resident’s car park was originally a steel checker plate material and as the staircase is external with no covering, potentially extremely slippery underfoot when wet.

The staircase is generally used by members of the public before they jet off to their holiday destinations, and in most cases would be carrying luggage up and down the stairs so it was extremely important that the staircase was slip resistant and offered a contrasting coloured nosing to aid with safety.

The installation took just 2 days to complete and given that the product can be walked on immediately this minimised disruption for the guests of the hotel.
